The protests on campuses are good and they are spreading. We hope the new student power grows and eventually joins the fight to save planet Earth. As the protests at Columbia and Barnard, spread to other campuses, they are being suppressed in the name of protecting Jewish people. This is utter nonsense. How can you protect a Jew by arresting a Jew? This Orwellian double think is supported and promoted by right wing, Fascist-minded American Republicans. Taking their cue from the late Senator Joseph McCarthy they are exercising power through fear. That fear is spreading. Do not be afraid of them. Stand up. Speak up. This is not about anti-Semitism. It is about snapping the whip and power.

Hi WE never met, but a close friend of mine was one of yours long long ago. I met him in prison. Linn Ehrlich, Chicago. I saw him last month and he’s frail, body and mind. Myself, mainly filmmaker I guess though do lots of photography, paint, and poems and write C&W/folk and play.
